How does REIWA Training recruit and select students?

REIWA Training is committed to promoting, encouraging and valuing equity and diversity with respect to its students and to provide students with the optimal environment to achieve a high level of success. We will ensure services offered are provided in a fair and equitable manner to all students free from bias. All REIWA Training staff have the responsibility to abide by equal opportunity principles.

We provide equal opportunity for all students to the benefits of training and assessment regardless of gender, sex, pregnancy, race, marital status, sexuality, age, family/career responsibilities, culture, linguistic background, disability, transgender, political conviction or religious belief. All students will have equitable access to training resources, facilities, support services, information, trainers and assessors, materials, assessment opportunities, learning opportunities, special needs materials and equipment.

We conduct recruitment for training courses by using press advertising, our training website, direct marketing to agencies and attendance at career events and expos.

Enrolments are subject to availability of places on a training program, based on the maximum number of participants who can be accommodated under the particular circumstances (e.g. capacity of training venue, type of course, learning structures) and occupational safety and health guidelines.

If a training program is fully booked at the time you inquire about enrolment into that particular training program, you will either be offered a place on another date that the training program is to be conducted which is not fully booked, or be offered an alternative learning mode such as distance learning. Classroom enrolments are strictly on a first-in, first-served basis.
